Prior to his move to the glamorous world of banking, Mike Daly had over ten years experience in Motion Picture/Television Finance and Corporate Communications with Paramount Pictures Corporation in Hollywood. Since joining Union Bank in 1994, Mike successfully helped the bank complete the development and implementation of both a Global and Domestic Securities Lending program.

Continuing his non-traditional path, Mike moved from the front office to the back office to manage the automation of Global and Domestic Reconciliation for Trust Operations. After working with global depositories, agent banks, internal and external technology providers, Mike assisted the in streamlining processes and improving automation. Mike then moved into a Risk Management role for Securities Processing and Technology where he now focuses on controls throughout the organization regarding enhanced due diligence, and increasing awareness to the many changes in banking laws and regulations including the Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, and the USA PATRIOT Act.

Mike has an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird, and achieved a BA from the University of Redlands. He holds the Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP) and hold the Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS) designation. He serves on the editorial of advisory board of ABA Trust & Investments magazine and chairs the CSOP Advisory Board. Mike is a Board Member of the Fiduciary Investment and Risk Management Association (FIRMA).
