Our 22nd Annual National Risk Management Training Conference was held April 6-10, 2008, at the Hilton Walt Disney World Resort, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Our conference offered outstanding topics of interest to support our Fiduciary and Investment Risk Management program, including: “Regulatory Update sessions from the OCC, FDIC, OTS, FED, and SEC”; “High Net-Worth Clients – A Higher Standard”; “401(k) Fee Disclosure”; “Generational Issues”; “AML/KYC/KYC Risk Ranking & Monitoring Techniques”; “Internal Audit and Compliance Reviews”; “Regulation R Overview”; “Risks in Investment Modeling”; “Understanding Structured Products”; Electronic Fraud”, “Key Risk Indicators”, “Elder Financial Abuse”, and over 20 other topics.
On Sunday, April 6, 2008, FIRMA offered a 3-hour pre-conference workshop; “Implementing Regulation R Compliance”.
We also offered a choice of two 2-hour In-Conference Seminars. The seminar topics were “Understanding Consumer Regulations” and “Investment Advisor Issues”.
