Position Summary:
The Wealth Management Senior Audit Specialist position leads Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc. in it's goal to enhance the value of its' wealth management activities by performing financial, operational, or regulatory compliance audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, certified fiduciary professional and/or NASD securities licensing preferred or willing to obtain. Minimum of five years experience required. Experience should be in fiduciary, broker-dealer, registered investment advisor, or institutional investment environment either in industry or regulatory. Proven ability to build rapport and exercise tact and diplomacy with all levels of management. Must be able to remain current on laws, regulations, and self-regulatory rules that impact our wealth management lines of business.

The Audit Department is seeking a Fiduciary Audit professional to be responsible for performing a variety of fiduciary audit assignments to assure compliance with established policies and procedures, fiduciary laws, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This position will perform audits of personal and corporate trust account administration, operations, and investment functions. They will work with management to develop corrective actions to audit exceptions and submit audit reports for final review and Audit Committee reporting. Follow up to determine that approved management action plans are instituted and complied with by departments. May lead or assist other auditors as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
This position typically requires a Bachelor's and 4+ years of directly related experience. Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus extensive knowledge of other related fields. Extensive knowledge of auditing procedures, accounting, statistical analysis, legal requirements and government regulations. Good communication and PR skills. Working knowledge of pc software.
***CTP or CFP certification(s) preferred, MBA or CPA beneficial.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a key contributor to the Large Bank Examination team, you will focus on evaluating the control and management of risks inherent in examining asset management activities within the largest financial institutions under the supervision of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Successful candidates must demonstrate a high level of technical expertise with recent experience in fiduciary/asset management activities in a large and/or complex financial institution with an emphasis in audit risk management or other control functions, or as an Asset Management examiner in another regulatory agency. Additionally, candidates must have an understanding of basic banking principles and operations and risk management and internal control concepts
